Kirstin Slepicka, VP Technology

Kirstin Slepicka Bormann is a seasoned professional with a passion for technology and leadership. She currently serves as the Vice President of Technology at H&R Block – leading enterprise architecture, global technology operations, corporate systems, and technology enablement. Her expertise lies in leveraging technology to drive efficiency, enhance user experiences, and enable seamless operations. Kirstin extends her impact through engagement with the Executive Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kansas City. She is a fan of all things ‘Kansas City’ and is committed to making an impact in her city. Beyond her professional achievements, Kirstin is mom to Lia, 8, and Wesley, 5. And, a travel-buddy to her husband, Adam. Their love for travel fuels her curiosity and broadens her perspective. When not at work, you can find Kirstin sitting next to the soccer field or volleyball court or traveling with her friends and family.
Nickolette Cole, VP Technology - Financial Services & Client Applications

Nicki Cole is a seasoned professional with nearly 20 years of experience in the technology and business sectors. Over the past 13 years, she has played a pivotal role at H&R Block, spearheading crucial initiatives to modernize client and financial technology systems. Moreover, she is dedicated to mentoring aspiring professionals and fostering an inclusive environment that elevates women in technology. Notably, she has recently co-sponsored the creation of the Women in Technology (WiT) committee as part of the HRB Women's Network. Nicki holds a bachelor's degree from MidAmerica Nazarene University and an Executive MBA from the University of Missouri–Kansas City. Her commitment to the tech community extends beyond her work at H&R Block, as she currently serves on the board of the KC Tech Council and is also serving as a mentor in the newly formed LEGiT (Leadership & Empowerment for Girls in Tech) program formed by KC Tech Council. With her extensive experience, leadership skills, and dedication to technological innovation, Nicki Cole continues to make a significant impact in the technology and business landscape.
LeAna Flores, Director of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging

LeAna Flores is the Director of Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging at H&R Block. With over seven years of experience at the company, she has been instrumental in fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace. LeAna’s journey at H&R Block began as a District Manager within the Global Consumer Tax organization, and she quickly rose through the ranks to her current leadership role. LeAna holds a bachelor’s degree in Recreation, Sport, and Tourism from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Passionate about diversity and inclusion, LeAna is dedicated to creating safe and inclusive spaces both physically and psychologically. She is actively involved in community initiatives and has proudly led internal transformation at H&R Block. LeAna’s commitment to promoting fairness and diversity extends beyond her professional life. She has served as a Board Member for Omega Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, where she previously held the position of National President.
Jean Nobile, Senior Vice President of Operations

Jean has spent over a decade leading and growing operations in high growth tech companies after starting her career at the Federal Reserve Bank. In her spare time, Jean contributes to a podcast about women who win. She currently leads the client success and operations teams at PayIt, where they work tirelessly to make local government easier for the residents and agencies they serve.
