Sol Salinas | Accenture   Sol Salinas is the global leader of Accenture's smart cities practice and a North America Sustainability Practice Leader. He is responsible for the development and maintenance of a global smart cities offering and alliances with global IoT providers.   Learn about the evolving concept of the "smart city." Dive into the challenges and opportunities that cities like Kansas City continue to face as they strive to fundamentally transform municipal services through the magic of IoT and other leading-edge technologies.

Kimberly Green-Kerr | Sprint   As Senior Vice President of Sprint Business Solutions, Kimberly leads commercial sales for Sprint Business. Under her leadership, Sprint Business has experienced record-setting growth as she implements its mission to be the preeminent trusted advisor to small, mid and enterprise businesses and government agencies as they enable their operations with innovative communication solutions.   Kimberly will discuss the integral role 5G will play in enabling IoT and smart cities technology, advantages to the business and technology community, and the possibilities at play as 5G is fully deployed in the region.

Fred Ellermeier | Black & Veatch   Fred Ellermeier, Vice President of Black & Veatch's Connected Communities business, has over 25 years of experience developing new markets and creating technology business.   Fred's discussion will touch on expanding markets and the technology deployments leading the way in this space. He'll demonstrate with several case studies of innovative projects underway in Kansas City and on both coasts.

Kevin Sears | JE Dunn   Within the mission-critical industry, Kevin Sears is currently the account executive for the National Stream Data Center program, the Project Executive on the Texas A&M data center and has put into place over 100MW with other clients.   Kevin will discuss the current and future state of the data center, and how scalability and diversity will change to support smart cities and the increased data center footprints they create.

George Hawkinson | Burns & McDonnell   George is a project manager and technology consultant at 1898 & Co., the new consulting and technology services arm of Burns & McDonnell. He brings 20 years of experience in the design, development and deployment of building automation, industrial automation, energy management and distributed big-data architectural solutions.   Learn how smart city & IoT technology impacts the work that Burns & McDonnell does globally on a daily basis.
